"Recitativo, Ostinato and Toccata" for church organ (2016)
The work is a commission by "Ī¤homas Tamvakos' Archive of Greek (Hellenes) Classical Composers".It has three mouvements, each one a developed version of an older composer's work to a new concept unity. The mystagogic character of "Recitativo" and its melodic phraseology in a rhetoric or hieratic style, is followed by the constant obsession of the "Ostinato". Horizontal lines are developed interruptedly rouns the steady transformation of motive's repetition, which escalates the course of the work to a sudden outburst of an polyphonic :"Toccata". The work is dedicated to Thomas Tamvakos.
